Little Pearl is so small that you could quite literally pick her up and put her in your pocket! At a height of just 9.14 cm (3.59 in) tall and 12.7 cm (5 in) long, she has been confirmed as the world’s shortest living dog by the Guinness World Records! This is shorter than a regular-sized television remote control and about the same length as a dollar bill!
Pearl belongs to Florida resident Vanesa Semler, who also owned the previous record holder, a 9.65 cm (3.8 in) tall Chihuahua named Miracle Milly. She died in 2020 at age nine.
