dear famous chihuahua®,
my name is amanda hamby and this is my chihuahua sebastion. my husband got him for me from a chihuahua breeder in texas after finding out that i was unable to have children. this devastated me so my husband thought that getting me a chihuahua puppy would make me feel better, you know, something i could use my maternal instincts on and boy was he right.
sebastion was born on april 7, 2008 and i treat this beautiful little chihuahua like he was my child. we eat, sleep, walk and watch tv together and when we fly to texas to see my husband’s parents, he sits in my lap on the plane. he also attends college classes with me where he lays comfortably next to me sleeping in his bag. my husband says that i have spoiled him rotten.
i have taught sebastion so many tricks using pup-a-roni’s bites as these are his favorite snack. he can sit, stay, shake, walk on his back legs in a circle, lay down, and more! i love to bring him to pet smart to try on outfits. it’s funny how cooperative he is with my changing his clothes several times a day. sebastion also loves to play catch at the park.
sebastion has filled a void in my heart that i never thought possible. for other couples like us who are unable to have children, i would highly recommend rescuing a chihuahua. i hope my story helps people like us find a way to deal with what life throws at you. my sweet little sebation is evidence that miracles really do come in very little packages.
yours in all sincerity,
amanda hamby from the state of alabama

I NEVER MUCH LIKED CHIHUAHUA’S BEFORE OWNING ONE, AND i CAN UNDERSTAND WHY.. YOU CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND JUST HOW AMAZING CHIS ACTUALLY ARE UNTIL YOU HAVE ONE OF YOUR OWN. I AM ONLY 19 SO WHETHER OR NOT I AM ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN IS YET TO COME UP..BUT I AM VERY LONELY DUE TO LOSING ONE OF MY PARENTS AND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AND ALTHOUGH NOTHING CAN COMPLETELY FILL THAT VOID MY CHIHUAHUA IS THE ONLY THING THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE. SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND, BY FAR THE MOST LOYAL PET I’VE EVER HAD (I’VE OWNED MANY DOGS OF ALL TYPES). she STICKS BY MY SIDE NO MATTER WHAT, I NEVER EVEN HAD TO TRAIN HER BECAUSE ALTHOUGH SHE IS BOLD AND BRAVE SHE NEVER STRAYS MORE THAN 10 FEET AWAY FROM ME AND IMMEDIATELY COMES TO MY SIDE AS SOON AS I CALL HER. SHE WILL DEFEND ME AGAINST anything THAT THREATENS ME. SHE HAS (SCARILY) GOTTEN INTO FIGHTS WITH RACCOONS, MULTIPLE TIMES AND EVEN TRIED TO TAKE ON A COW (OF COURSE i SNATCHED HER UP BEFORE SHE GOT HERSELF INTO TROUBLE). SHE IS NEVER ALOOF OR SULKY NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION AND BRINGS TO MUCH LIGHT INTO MY LIFE. ASIDE FROM BEING LOYAL SHE IS ALSO EXTREMELY COMICAL AND ENTERTAINING.. I COULD SWEAR SHE HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR! losing her to an untimely death is one of my greatest fears and i hope to have her for many years to come.
I forgot to say my male Chihuahua is Bandit,My new baby girl is Bella. My old Chihuahua that is in dog heaven his name was Tip he had a little white tip on the end of his tail that how he got his name.

Your Chihuahua is beautiful all of them all. I just love everyone of them they are so small and sweet.
Since I am a older lady they keep me company. 🙂
I have a Chihuahua named Chico that looks a lot like yours… and I have a female named Bella. We are pretty sure they are the best things in the entire world! My situation is somewhat similar… and let me tell you – these little fur balls are a true blessing!

Your Baby is adorable. My 2 Chihuahuas are my gift from God. They truly are my stress relievers! They always seem to help me feel so happy, when I am not. They are my little LUV BUG ANGELS!!!!!!!
I know what you mean. My little long haired chihuahua, Precious, is the child I never had. We both spoil her rotten and we are in our 60’s. I couldn’t love her any more if she had been human. We treat her just like our baby and she has filled a void in our hearts that has been there for a long time. God Bless Chihuahuas!
I love my chi as if he were a child too.
What a cute one! You are so right. Chihuahuas are special and have a way of making life so much brighter! Good luck to you and Sebastion!
